Still, some people have gone to bat for Bay, quite rightly pointing out that, you know, you can't kick his arse for not making high art when that's not what he's trying to do, and that we unfairly skew our view towards mass culture and don't treat more gentrified matter with the same fierce scrutiny.

Ha ha that was a great, although somewhat flawed argument. Viral it's the new fing innit. That's the first time I've seen the trailer for Transformers 3, I could go and see that at the cinema.
ReplyDeleteI like action films when they are good, the problem is so few of them are good. I like them to be as lean as possible, I don't need sub plots or back stories, but I do demand a decent story to hang all that CGI stuff on. Night all.
