The onset of cheap link-recycling posts begins in earnest: Fruity Samurai

It'll give me great personal pleasure to see some citrus shits getting juiced. Got no time for them

It's late on a Saturday evening, so it's foolishness on anyone's part to expect any verbosity or wittiness (if ever). What I do instead have to offer is the joy of Fruity Samurai.

It's a series of animated shorts, featuring, in a highly no-shit-Sherlock way, a bunch of samurai, all of them fruit * adopts Jilly Goolden voice * I'm getting tones of Samurai Jack, along with some Parappa The Rapper notes.

A wink in the direction of Twitch for bringing this charming wee beastie to my attention.

Sucker Punch review

"If you tell me once more that I'm going to be a bit parky in this, you're going to taste katana"

Here's what PCCP associate Philph has to say about Zack Snyder's much-hmmmmmmed about blockbuster:

"It's The Matrix, as produced by the creative team at Babestation."

Airtight analysis, that.

It's already taken a right royal humdinger of a kicking, mainly for its reeeeeeaaally dubious sexual politics ("A pervert's Inception," reckons The Guardian), but there's no doubting that it's visually striking. Here's the first five minutes. See what you think...
